Description
Bing's all-time classic collection of Christmas songs, on original 1945 four-78 Decca album 550. Features eight songs, including his famous version of White Christmas, and two with the Andrews Sisters:
-Silent Night/Adeste Fideles
-White Christmas/God Rest Ye Merry, Gentlemen
-I'll be Home for Christmas/Faith of our Fathers
-Jingle Bells (w the Andrews Sisters)/Santa Claus is Comin' to Town (w the Andrews Sisters)
The first disc has a few minor scuffs but plays just fine. I would call it VG++. I think it is the non-album pressing, released singly, but used here as a replacement for a lost or broken first disc. It is exactly the same record, from the same time, but it just doesn't say "album A-550". All three remaining discs are excellent, with all their luster and shine intact, and barely any wear. An occasional surface scuff or light mark but they all play just beautifully. The cover has a small torn section at the top of the spine, and bit of wear on the edges but is entirely intact with strong binding. A lovely copy.
