Description

Lovely copy of the rare original Canadian pressing of Bing's classic Merry Christmas LP, on Decca DL-8128. This is the first edition in mono, with the photo of Bing in his Santa hat on the back and the black Microgroove labels. This copy is really in wonderful shape. There are a few superficial scuffs and one or two very light marks but it plays just beautifully. Really a great playing copy. The sound is so so much better in original mono, before it was "re-channeled" for stereo in the early 60s. And these earlier pressings sound just magical. This is a great playing copy. The cover has a cutout hole at the top right corner, but is otherwise just beautiful. This is a top original Canadian copy. Hard to beat.
