Description

original Jamaican reggae album produced by E. Lamont: Bingy Bunny ME AND JANE (Cha Cha records)

BINGY BUNNY
ME AND JANE
original Cha Cha pressing

This killer rockers style album from 1982 features the Roots Radics backing Bingy Bunny of The Morwells on an all-killer no-filler selection of terrific tracks. It's his solo lp debut. The title track features Morwell and his friend Jane taking a plane where they drink champagne, 'land in Spain, no look money or fame, so I man cyaan be ashmed'. "Keep It In The Family" pleads to all kinfolk 'if we wake up in the morning and we don't have no tea, keep it in the family' so don't spread around family struggles to 'John John or Tom Jones'. If we can't afford certain things, mums the word. Other highlights include "Give Me Power", "Train To Zion", "Ungrateful Baby", "Cold Cold World", "Street Lover" and more. Early eighties Channel One reggae at its best. Mixed by Scientist and Bunny Tom Tom. Arranged by Morwell.

ORIGINAL Cha Cha records vinyl is in excellent condition with no warp, no skips, no scratch. The ORIGINAL cover is also in excellent shape. No seam splits, no corner bends, no disc imprints. No hand-writing on labels or anywhere.

"Bingy Bunny first started singing in the early '70's with groups such as Bongo Herman and the Morwells where he sang Lead vocal. He also plays with the Roots Radiccs band which is now one of the most popular group and session musicians of today. Here is Bingy Bunny on his first solo L.P. I hope you enjoy it." Cha-Cha
