Impossibly hard-to-find privately-pressed sole release from this obscure duo from the Quebec Hull-Gatineau area.
Very few of these were pressed (one source suggests only 500 copies).
Excellent folk-rock that's definately rooted in Quebec traditional folk, but with a unique bite that boasts a full sound and lots of progressive influences from Luc Lafrance (vocals, acoustic guitar) Menoute (vocals, harmonica) and Canadian violinist Nathan Curry (violin, mandolin). Additional flutes and percussion are un-credited.
This is essentially an all-instrumental effort with some vocals on 2 tracks.
Visually graded with strong halogen light
Mint (M) : Only Sealed Records are considered to be Mint.
Near Mint (NM) : Record appears as Mint or very close to Mint condition with only slightest
signs of handling. Vinyl has original gloss.
Near Mint Minus (NM-) : Record visually appears close to Near Mint condition but with a few
very light marks, which should not generate noise.
May occasionally play with a few soft ticks. Vinyl has original gloss.
Excellent (EX) : May have a few superficial light marks like sleeve marks, scuffs or hairline.
May have some soft ticks, but most likely no pops. Vinyl has original gloss.
Very Good Plus (VG+) : May have some light scratches or marks, There are some ticks
and might have some light pops. Still well looked after and very listenable.
Very Good (VG) : Some scratches and marks which generate loud ticks and some pops.
