"BIRTH CONTROL" by BIRTH CONTROL RARE UK 1971 ORIGINAL PRESSING ON THE FAMOUS CHARISMA PINK SCROLL LABEL CAS 1036. MATRIX NUMBERS: CAS 1036 A-1U / CAS 1036 B-1U
The heavyweight vinyl is in very nice condition, it still retains a nice original sheen. The playing surface has some wyspy inner sleeve hairline marks visible under strong light. It plays fine with no skips or jumps with just occasional light crackle in the background in quiet parts. DISC: EX
The LABELS are clear and bright, no writing, no stickers on both sides just some faint spindle marks: EX+
The sleeve is one of those wonderful non-laminated flimsy jobs, but this one has survived in great shape! It was printed and made by the E.J. Day Group, London and Bedford, it does have some edge wear / ringwear, a couple of light creases but is intact with no seam-splits and no writing and no stickers, a small scratch on front cover. Some scuffing on the spine but the name and the catalogue number are still legible, COVER: VG+

Amongst the longest running of German rock bands, Birth Control were formed way back in 1968 in Berlin. They chose their rather controversial name as a stab at Pope Paul's anti birth control policy.
