Having released the holy grail original last year, Ovular launch a brand new sub label Vular for this beautiful remix package. The original, as you may know, was Biswas's only record. Recorded in India in 1982 with a crack team of Canadian musicians, the OG copy went for well over L500 in the past. These remixes are equally rich: Johannes Klingebiel adds an uptempo thump to the psychedelic twangs of "Moja Bhari Moja", RSS Disco pluck at our heartstrings on "Aaj Shanibar" while Roman Keller twists out a newbeat style groove on "East West Shuffle". Finally M Rux brings out a slinky, conga-riddled trip on "Ayee Morshume". Remix bliss; edit packages don't come around like this very often.
