Black American Composer and Singer Turner Layton - 1894-1978 - (hits include After You've Gone, Goodbye Alexander, Dear Old Southland, If I Could Be With You (One Hour Tonight), Strut Miss Lizzie and Way Down Yonder in New Orleans) in London in 1930 sings the wonderful Cole and Johnson song 'Lil' Gal' on a single-sided shellac Columbia Test Pressing of matrix WA10708-1. This title was never issued and this is in all probability the only copy of the record! CONDITION: Near Mint!
