Description
This is a first pressing of this highly sought album by BLACK FLAG. This is the 1981 release on unicorn records. Black Flag had a distribution deal with MCA but MCA (distribution chief Al Betgamo) backed out after deeming that the album had no redeeming social value. Also Al felt that as a parent that the record was anti parent. Damaged was later released through an independent distributor. This record cost black flag 8k to produce and 25k were pressed. A lyric sheet could be requested by mail only. This is the rare copy with the anti parent sticker that covers up the MCA logo. The record sleeve is in excellent condition EX. There is some corner wear and edge wear. The spine is in excellent condition. There is a small cut in the sleeve at the top edge consistent with something dropping on it. See photos. Minor ringwear top and bottom. The sleeve has been placed in a new clear protective sleeve. The record is in near perfect condition NM with only very fine marks consistent with the original paper sleeve making pressure marks. The record has been placed in a new ZOLEF anti static archival sleeve. All items have been inspected cleaned detailed photographed and graded when possible. This item ships in a large record mailer carefully packaged.
