Description

BLACKJACK

"ORIGINAL SOUNDTRACK"

(1978 | MD-120 | SES Records)

Condition: VG-  Overall, the record is in great condition, with the exception of a surface scuff on side 1 that will probably be semi-audible.  The open end of the record is on the top.  There is a seem split on the left side.   Plain inner sleeve.

Produced By: Jack Ashford & Charlene Ashford
(Jack Ashford was one of the members of the FUNK BROTHERS, the legendary house musicians responsible for almost every #1 hit to come out of MOTOWN Records in the '60s & '70s)

Considered to be one of the Holy Grails of Blaxploitation Soundtracks, this LP is one of the rarest Blaxploitation soundtracks ever made.

I've heard numbers ranging from "no more than a hundred" to "maybe only ten" copies were ever made of this record.  Although, I can not confirm either of those numbers.

This is an ORIGINAL copy!

CONDITION GUIDE

Mint (M)

SEALED! Absolutely perfect in every way. The item should be in brand new condition with no surface marks or deteriation. The disc, cover and any other contents (lyric sheet, booklet etc..) should be in perfect condition. ONLY SEALED RECORDS GET THIS GRADING!

Near Mint/Excellent (NM or M-)
A nearly perfect record. The record should show no obvious signs of wear and only minor signs of being played.  Sometimes, the record will get this grading just because it is not sealed.

Very Good (VG)
A "Very Good" record will show some signs that it was played and otherwise handled by a previous owner who took good care of it. There's no major deterioration in sound quality but there maybe slight surface scuffs or very light scratches that don't affect the listening experiences.

Good (G)
Good does not mean Bad! A record in Good condition can be put onto a turntable and will play through without skipping. But the sound quality will probably have noticeably deteriorated perhaps with surface noise, mild scratches and visible groove wear.

Fair (F)
The record is probably just playable and/or the sleeve etc will be damaged or torn.

Poor (P)
The record is probably cracked, badly warped, and won't play through without skipping or repeating. The picture sleeve will be damaged, split or heavily de-faced by wear and writing. Except for impossibly rare records otherwise unattainable, these are only of use as a collection filler.
