Vinyl Condition: Nr. MINT (Looks Unplayed!)The Vinyl on both playing surfaces appear totally as 'New' in strong daylight both sides are Stunning and virtually Flawless and visually vinyl looks UNPLAYED and are completely free from any bad surface marks or wear/blemishes looks totally UNMARKED on even closer examination under a strong tilted light and to be even more critical - It's very hard to find or detect any type of marks at all I can just about see one small near invisible hairline and then reveals nothing more than some insignificant and very few and very feint mild wispy inner sleeve removal traces that absolutely doesn’t effect the virtually Perfect Audio Playback - The vinyl still retains its original factory pressed look with jet black shiny gloss sheen and lustre - It would be virtually impossible to find vinyl that will even come close let alone better this one!!!
AUDIO PLAYBACK ASSESSMENT: Mint- This Vinyl visually looks like it's never been played and appears to be a Mint looking Copy - The Audio playback when played was 1st class and absolutely SENSATIONAL and Unbelievable for 41 years old - Being uninterrupted with No other bad audible distortion or faults plays crystal clear from start to finish with dynamic STEREO quality and performance with only maybe the very lightest of static to be heard occasionally during the very quieter elements of audio playback if at all - But without any doubt this has to be truly one of the best your likely to ever hear on a turntable or find of this very Rare collectable that’s in this amazing supreme condition!!!
Labels Condition: Nr. MINT Looks Unplayed Maybe 3-5 times - Labels being the Vertigo Black & White Large Spiral 'swirl' labels with the Rare ‘A PHILIPS RECORD PRODUCT’ word text that is positioned at the bottom of label on a clean white background which looks Superb and Unmarked apart from some very light traces of black typeface smudges on both sides of labels which has always been there from the 1st day of Album being issued (This is quite a common occurrence and was obviously done during production on the factory printing press’s at time of release) I have seen this several times over the years on other Vertigo labels issues for around 70s era and this absolutely doesn’t interfere with any of the written text on the labels and is still showing very clear bold and legible text and still looks near perfect (see photo scans) -Looks Hardly touched and it's only evident under angled bright light of a few very faint spindle trace marks that are showing near the spindle hole with No wear around the spindle hole which still looks barely touched and its very evident that when it was ever played on that odd occasion it was done so very carefully
Cover Condition: EX+ to Nr.MINT An Original 1st press Marcus Keef Unlaminated Matt Gatefold sleeve cover - This superb Cover is just exceptional and Amazing example showing all its original Bold and Vibrant colours like its near on 'Perfect' - That's totally intact with razor sharp straight edges and excellent pointed corners - The cover looks to be virtually Unmarked - Flat crisp and incredibly clean and showing all its original bold written text on the ‘Cross’ Inside of the gatefold cover that looks virtually near Mint - The only blemishes if being ultra critical that I can find is a little mild edge and corner scuff wear in one or two small places and I do mean light! Is not that noticeable (this doesn't in anyway detract from the overall exceptional stunning condition of cover)
Spine Condition: Nr. MINT The spine is clean intact and near perfect - Matt unlaminated with all written text still showing to be bold clear legible and perfectly worded with just a little mild storage rub at top & bottom of spine end
Inner Sleeve: Nr. MINT The original Vertigo 'Swirl' White & Black polylined Record company sleeve is in immaculate and looks Superb in an original very clean intact condition and shows no evidence of any real handling wear over its lifetime - Absolutely NO Tears,Splits,Ink Writting,Stickers or other Blemishes apart from a little yellow aging tinges around the white edges
The overall Brilliant Pristine condition of this Album is mainly due to the superb dry storage conditions and thick plastic cover protection on this LP Record over it's Lifetime!!!
