Description
Black Sabbath 1st Album, vertigo swirl VO6. Rare, genuine 1st U.K.pressing with "A Philips Record Product" label text. Original thick card gatefold sleeve VG minus, surface tear on front between title & swirl logo. Spine split has sellotape repair. Text on spine still partly legible (n.b. Sleeves exist on all Vertigo pressings, either with or without spine text). Inside of gatefold has band member details in Capitals, not lower case as in later sleeves. Vinyl VG, light surface marks & hairline scratches. Plays great, a little surface noise in quiet parts (there aren't many!). Heavy vinyl with VO6 1Y*1, 2Y*1 matrix. Labels VG, small mark on B side label to the right of the swirl. A side label bright & clean with a little wear round the spindle hole. Both labels display one or two spindle traces. Inner swirl sleeve in good shape. A reasonable 1st press, only selling because my car needs urgent medical attention.
