Side 1 : Black sabbath; The Wizaed; Behind The Wall Of Sleep; N.I.B.

Side 2 : Evil Woman; Sleeping Village; Warning(Dunbar).

An Absolutely Outstanding Debut Album, possibly the first Psych/Rock Album ever!!,  from probably one of the greatest British Metal/Rock Bands of the late sixties and 70's, BLACK SABBATH, with strong influence from the highly talented Tony Iommi, Terry Butler, Bill Ward and the infamous Ozzy Osbourne. Recorded late '69 and first released in february 1970, one of the greatest 60's "Rock and Metal/Garage" Albums of all time. British Psych/Rock/Metal at its Finest.

The record is in excellent condition, on the original Vertigo Large Swirl Label on Side B,  Both label sides show only the very minimum signs of any light spindle marking, no wear to the centre labels. The labels are of a course texture and there is No writing or grubby marks. First Pressing Large Swirl Logo on side 2, (All Later 2nd pressing issues had a small swirl and the VERTIGO name above the spindle hole). Excellent labels.

The Vinyl is excellent and very clean. The surface of the record is excellent, only the lightest of surface marks visible, and mostly only visible under strong light, as is only to be expected at this age, the record has been played. Thick, relatively heavy duty late 60's/early 70's sturdy vinyl., unlike the much thinner vinyl used on later pressings.

The Record plays excellent, only the slightest of any background noise is detected, mainly to lead ins where needle has dropped ( and limited to the quieter tracks), the lead ins between tracks to each side are very good, overall a super sound quality. Nice High Gloss Deep Black Vinyl and Classic Stereo sound. All round excellent Record of probably Sabbath's greatest album, an opportunity to get an original rare vertigo swirl copy.

Gatefold Sleeve is in excellent condition. This is the very first Sleeve with the Band Credits in CAPITAL Text, and the widely publisized "OSBORNE" miss-splelling on the cross. All later issue sleeves had the credits in small text and carried the miss-spelling.

This is the thick card sleeve with matt finish, which is in excellent condition, there are No creases, No tears, No writing, No grubby marks, No unwanted stickers, has slight residue from price sticker to top right which has been disguisede, No  rips on the sleeve. All the outer edges are sharp and intact and in very good order, some light signs of edge and corner wear through storage. The corners are also in good order with slight storage wear, NO dents or creases. The spine is excellent, totally rigid, has some surface edge extreme corner wear to surface of spine, and very important, the PINK coloured text on the spine is intact, The opening edges to the sleeve are sharp and crease free. The inner gatefold is in very good condtion, very clean,  A Lovely example of this very rare classic record sleeve.

Record is complete with original black and white Swirl inner sleeve, which is in good condition, shows some signs of aging and residue from old tape on one side seam which has split. also has a name and black sabbath written in biro in small letters on top corner.
