Description
The only Sabbath LP featuring Ian Gillan on vocals . Original UK pressing/issue with inner sleeve. Cat# Vertigo VERL8 . A//1 & B//1 matrix numbers . Cut at TOWNHOUSE .
From my own collection and purchased new on its first day of release back in August 1983. This item has been well cared for and the album cover has been kept in an outer protective sleeve since new. Recently play-tested using a correctly aligned MC cart/stylus. Please be assured record has not had a huge amount of play. Playing condition is EX-, but with the majority sounding with no tangible difference to new. Low grade due to some background surface noise on the quieter sections - which this album doesn't have a great deal of. Visually, the vinyl surface is EX/EX-. Very few light/faint lines, most of which are hard to see. Only one of these is more noticeable (see photos) and even this doesn't feel to the touch or has any obvious effect on play. The album cover is EX+/NM. Faint ring wear on the front - not immediately noticeable. No seam splits. Inner sleeve is NM. In no rush to sell but time for someone else to enjoy owning.
