Description
I am selling my copy of Black Sabbath's compilation LP titled Greatest Hits. This LP was not released in the United States until the late 1980's and then in CD form. My copy was released in the United Kingdom (making it an import) on the NEMS label in 1977. It is a first edition mastered at the Utopia Studios. It contained ten tracks all from their first five LPs. I picked up the copy you see here in a record store in Greenwich Village in the late 1970s. It was brand new and I played it a couple of times and then stored it away in an air conditioned non-smoking environment. I grade the condition as Near Mint. It looks close to perfect in every way. The vinyl looks like it was never played. The cover is flawless. The cardboard used on the cover is a little lighter than records released in the U.S. as most imports were at the time. The original inner sleeve is included. It is a generic white issue but on one side is printed (very small) UK PATENT NO.1,125,555. The sleeve does show some slight yellowing due to age and one very small tear on the top but no seam splits. You will not find a nicer looking used copy of this record anywhere.
