Description
Black sabbath Master of reality vinyl LP First UK press from 1971 on the Vertigo Swirl label Cat no. 6360 050 1Y//1 v 420 and 2Y//1 v 420 matrices Includes original 6 panel matte poster
Vinyl is in beautiful condition. Very bright, clean and glossy with just a few very light sleeve removal scuffs and a couple of very light hairlines visible under strong light. Not much signs of handling. EX+ Audio is fantastic as expected. Plays through crisp and clear with no sticks or jumps and no distortion. Very quiet between tracks and on the run ins. EX+ Labels are very clean and almost pristine with no writing, stickers. Only a few very light spindle marks on either side. This has seen hardly any play at all. EX+ Original laminated box sleeve is also in a very nice, solid condition. Still retains its box shape. Laminate is still clean and glossy. Spine still very square and solid. Just some minor laminate lift on the left side but otherwise a fantastic copy. EX Original swirl inner is included which has no edge splits but has a couple of tears to the centre hole and some signs of handling. VG+ Original poster is in really great condition with no signs of having been displayed at any point and very little signs of use at all. I would grade as near mint but for one small quarter inch tear along the top edge so downgraded to EX to account for this.
Overall a really fantastic example of this first pressing. EX+/EX

Gradings;
Mint: The record itself is in brand new condition with no surface marks or deterioration in sound quality. The cover and any extra items such as the lyric sheet, booklet or poster are in perfect condition.
Excellent: The record shows some signs of having been played, but there is very little lessening of sound quality. The cover and packaging might have slight wear and / or creasing.
Very Good: The record has obviously been played many times, but displays no major deterioration in sound quality, despite noticeable surface marks and the occasional light scratch. Normal wear and tear on the cover or extra items, without any major defects, is acceptable.
Good: The record has been played so much that the sound quality has noticeably deteriorated, perhaps with some distortion and mild scratches. The cover and contents suffer from folding, scuffing of edges, spine splits, discolouration etc..
Fair: The record is still just playable but has not been cared for properly and displays considerable surface noise: it may even jump. The cover and contents will be badly damaged or partly missing.
Poor: The record will not play properly due to scratches, bad surface noise etc.. The cover and contents will be badly damaged or partly missing.
Bad: The record is unplayable or might even be broken, and is only of use as a collection filler.
