BLACK SABBATH - MASTER OF REALITY

1st UK pressing on the Vertigo Swirl Label 6360050

Stamper Matrixes: 1Y1 and 2Y1

---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Some general remarks: Very hard to find in this extraordinary Vinyl condition.

I grade my records on top notch equipment, using the expensive Lyra Kleos MC-cartridge. It reveals everything from any Vinyl which sometimes can be a curse, especially with 40+ year old records. When I grade a record as Excellent, I am pretty sure many other sellers would not hestitate to call it Near Mint. When I give a record the "Near Mint" grading it is practically flawless. I am collecting Vinyl since 35+ years and own hundreds of records from the day they came into the shops. I clean all records on my Keith Monks RCM II and add the Nagaoka N102 protective sleeve to each record.

The Vinyl: close to NEAR MINT

The surfaces are clean and shiny. A few whispy hairlines only when held into strong light. Playback is loud, strong and dynamic. Fantastic.

The Labels: NEAR MINT

A few wispy spindle traces only.

The original laminated embossed and flipped-in Sleeve: VG++ to EXC-

One of the hardest to preserve sleeves. A few laminate creases and bubbles. No splits and nearly no edge rubbing. Spine is strong and clearly readable. Still very presentable.

Original Swirl Inner Sleeve: VG+

No splits but some stain on top and bottom edges, small writing on top left of each side.A few creases, taped on one side (approx. 10 cm).

A beautiful and fantastic sounding 1st UK-pressing and highly recommended.

In case of any further questions please don't hesitate to mail me. I will answer promptly.

Due to the somehow weird eBay policies regarding postage please ignore the postage fee listed above. I decided to fix shipping at 7 GBP to anywhere in Europe and 9 GBP to the rest of the world. This includes the fees for "signed for/registered" and also Insurance to make sure the record arrives safely. It also allows to track it during its transit. The record ships from Germany.

Payment is required within 3 working days after auction ended.

I pack my records professionally in stiff record mailers leaving the Vinyl (housed in Nagaoka anti-static bags) outside the Sleeve.

Good luck.

Here is some additional information requested by an interested buyer:

I have double checked the Vinyl (again). I held the LP under a 300-Watts-LED-Light. I can see a few superficial scuffs on the surface but no scratches. None of them sound in any way. The middle hole on Side 2 (the black label) does not show any spindle traces, at least I can  not detect any. The hole on Side one (the Swirly side) has one spindle trace of approx. 3 milimeters which can only be seen if the LP is angled against the light. I then played the ENTIRE record again at a very high volume (geeeez, that was fun!!!)  and the playback is fantastic - there are no pops or nasty clicks. There is one softer title where I can hear single soft static (nothing revolving) but only at the very beginning. Even brand new records play worse!!! I have no hesitation grading the playback as close to NEAR MINT.  I hope this was precise enough.
