BLACK SABBATH ‘MASTERS OF REALITY’ VERTIGO SWIRL 1971 1Y 2Y 1ST PRESS VG VG FAB!.
This one is Black Sabbath’s legendary 1971 3rd album ‘Master of Reality’ with Ozzie and the boys at the height of their powers.
It’s a Vertigo Swirl 1Y 2Y first pressing and comes in the original embossed box cover. It doesn’t have the poster or original vertigo swirl inner sleeve and I’ve put it in a Mofi master sleeve to protect it.
The vinyl has a lot of signs of wear but not feelable scratches and it actually plays really well with some background crackle on occasions. You can be confident of listening to it with a huge amount of pleasure!
The box cover has a fair number signs of wear and creasing that I have tried hard to show in the photos. One of the problems with the ‘box’ format of the cover is that it it’s difficult for it not to be constantly flattened out. Nevertheless it has kept its essential shape overall. The back of the box has a considerable number of tiny white flecks.
I would grade both the vinyl and cover as VG.
I have attempted to describe as accurately as possible the condition of both and have reflected these factors in the Buy it Now price. I’ve re-listened to both sides as I type and it is a truly epic album. Enjoy!
I clean all records that I auction with ‘Vinyl Clear ’ very carefully but they may benefit from a clean with a professional machine.
I use Record Collector gradings. Please ensure that you understand them before you bid.
I have long-standing very strong feedback so hopefully can be seen as a trustworthy seller. I pack carefully and dispatch the morning after the end of the auction.
I’m not seeking to make a killing on postage, so am happy to combine postage. I am happy to dispatch to Europe and Asia but would wish to use Recorded Delivery.
