BLACK SABBATH MASTEROF REALITY

7 Day Auction, 99p start!

PROS:

1971 UK First Pressing

VertigoSPIRAL labels, catalog no. 6360 050

ORIGINAL COVER with PURPLE embossed BLACK SABBATH on front.

Plays VG apart from ‘After Forever’ see below. Vinyl has minor surface scratches collected over

the years only one nasty scratch, see below.

CONS:

Onside 1 track 2 ‘After Forever’ about half way through there is a feelable scratch on the vinyl

which generates some loud pops for about 2 minutes. You can see this scratch clearly is one of the

 pictures

There is a slight skip or loud pop on ‘Orchid’ dependant on how your stylus is set.

(The rest of the LP plays absolutely fine with minor crackling and clicks in quieter parts like ‘Solitude’)

The cover has been squashed over the years and has lost its full width and the top flap is missing.

There is a replacement inner sleeve and no poster. (did you really expect one?!)

Luigi Riva decided to write his name on the spiral label together with the word ‘Underground’ he

also wrote RIVA on the black label side, which is only noticeable when tilted towards light.

Overall:LP, Good+/Cover, Good

That is my honest appraisal of this classic LP, I play tested this LP and imagined it was 1971 all

over again. Still sounds great! ClassicSabbath.
