1st Pressing Matrix Numbers
Cover: Laminated outer cover and matt inside. Does not have the 'Jim Simpson/Big Bear' credit inside the gatefold. In fabulous Near Mint condition.
Swirl inner bag: In VG+ condition - has a small number written at the top.
Labels: 1st pressing labels with larger swirl, p1970 above 33/13 on right hand side of the label and VERTIGO text below the spindle hole. In Excellent+ condition.
Vinyl: Play tested. Looks VG+ to Near Excellent with some light marks only. No skips/jumps. Track 1 Side has some light clicks for a minute or so and is VG(-). The rest of the tracks play VG+ on average (some VG and some Excellent) with occasional clicks and pops and minor crackle. These Vertigo 1st pressings (manufactured by Philips) used top quality vinyl and this one has stood the test of time. Might improve further with a light clean.

Gradings......
Mint - The record itself is in brand new condition with no surface marks or deterioration in sound quality.
Excellent - The record shows some signs of having been played, but there is very little lessening in sound quality.
Very Good - The record has obviously been played many times, but displays no major deterioration in sound quality despite noticeable surface marks and occasional light scratches.
Good - The record has been played so much that the sound quality has noticeably deteriorated, perhaps with some distortion and more significant scratches.
Fair - The record is still just playable but has not been cared for properly and displays considerable surface noise, it may even jump.
Poor - The record will not play properly due to scratches, bad surface noise, etc
Bad - The record is unplayable or might even be broken, and is only of use as a collection filler.
