THE classic Heavy Metal lp from 1970, a great album from an excellent band - this album is an example of a dark style that took on it's own direction from psychedelic and progressive rock.
This record is indeed a UK metal standout from start to finish - and it's the first that most had heard of BLACK SABBATH. It got a boost from the success of the title track, which gained many radio airplays and got high on the UK charts!
No low point on this album, excellent guitar over Heavy bass and drums underpin and reinforce Ozzie's mournful vocal.
CONDITION;
VINYL is VG++/VG- visually, and sounds really great despite a few lines and scars on side 2.
LABLES are EX, spindle lines visible, no other issues.
The ORIGINAL LAMINATED GATEFOLD COVER is VG, with an amount of general wear. Still a solid example but not in top shape overall.
The original inner spiral sleeve is VG with a small tear to one edge from the disc..... which will be mailed in a plain lined sleeve.
Priced accordingly though, for someone who will enjoy playing this classic!
