Description

HERE is a lovely copy of Black Sabbath's second album, Paranoid, on original UK Vertigo swirl vinyl from 1970. This is the rarest very first pressing, with the large Vertigo swirl logo on the label together with the swiftly withdrawn Jim Simpson Big Bear management credit on the sleeve. The first press vinyl is in strong VG+ condition. Both sides look great in normal light and when viewed under strong halogen lighting only light surface and scuff marks are to be seen and certainly no deep feelable scratches. Both large first press Vertigo swirl labels are great with no writing, rips or sticker damage. The unlaminated gatefold is in strong VG condition with good straight edges though there are some small areas of minor scuffing on the leading edge, the spine and on the rear panel, which hopefully you can see in my photos and which could easily be touched in.
