Description
THIS IS INDEED A ULTRA-RARE FIRST PRESSING!
I doubt you will find a cleaner copy of this ultra-rare album.
It's the 1st pressing gatefold sleeve with 'Jim Simpson' credit, large swirl label.
Original UK press released on the Vertigo ''large swirl'' label with the wording ''Vertigo'' credited below the spindle hole on label side B.
Released in an unlaminated gatefold sleeve with the rare credits mentioning ''Management/Jim Simpson, Big Bear, Birmingham''.
There is no break in between the tracks "Hand of Doom" and "Rat Salad" (i.e. looks as though there are only three tracks on the B side of the record when there is actually four.)
Cat# 6360 011 appears on spine and rear of sleeve above VO PRICE CODE.
Cat# 6360 011 appears on Label side B.
Recorded at Regent Sound and Island Studios.
Published by Essex Music Int. Ltd.

A WORD ABOUT MY GRADINGS. I AM HYPER-CRITICAL ON MY GRADING- ESPECIALLY ON SUCH A RARE ALBUM. I WANT TO BE AS HONEST AS POSSIBLE TO MAINTAIN MY 100% FEEDBACK SCORE, AND IN THIS CASE HAVE ERRED ON THE SIDE OF CAUTION. THE VINYL IS, FOR ME, NEAR MINT, BUT I HAVE GRADED IT AS EX++ BECAUSE OF A COUPLE OF VERY LIGHT MARKS WHICH SOMEONE VERY FUSSY MIGHT TAKE ISSUE WITH.
VINYL CONDITION -
EX++ . THERE ARE SOME LIGHT SPINDLE MARKS NEAR THE HOLE WHICH SHOWS IT HAS BEEN PLAYED, AND SOME VERY LIGHT MARKS THAT CAN ONLY BE SEEN IN A BRIGHT LIGHT AT A CERTAIN ANGLE.
COVER CONDITION-
THIS IS THE ULTRA-RARE UNLAMINTED COVER WHICH IS VERY CLEAN OVERALL. THERE IS SOME LIGHT SCUFFING TO THE EDGES, BUT NO TEARS OR CREASES. SADLY SOMEONE HAS SIGNED IT ON THE FRONT BUT IT'S IN BLACK ON A BLACK BACKGROUND, SO BARELY NOTICEABLE. IT HAS ALSO BEEN SIGNED INSIDE IN RED. ASIDE FROM THAT, IT'S EX++.
