Description
Nice original RARE OG copy of this classic Black Sabbath album. Probably one of my favorite labels of all time! Gatefold sleeve designed and photographed by Marcus Keef. Originally to be titled “War Pigs” this was changed at the last minute to avoid offending the US market due to their ongoing involvement in the Vietnam war. The original title makes more sense with Keef’s cover concept. This is the 1st press second issue without the Big Bear Management credit inside the gatefold.
Sleeve: VG+ in great shape for its age. This is the laminated cover. Does show minor spine, corner, and general wear throughout. Has the very cool original vertigo inner sleeve in the best condition I have seen.
Record: visually - many superficial scratches VG Sound quality - plays much better than looks, background noise at times and average crackles here and there but music is clean, dynamic and without any distortions, so VG+
Cool copy of a rare original classic.
