UK 1st pressing on the Vertigo Swirl (Spiral) Label - Big Vertigo Swirl indicates that this is a first pressing, subsequent releases have a smaller swirl on the label of Side 2.

1Y/2Y First Matrix-Stampers

Sleeve: gatefold non-laminated (later pressings had laminated sleeves) ring-wear and a few spots with rub-off, no seam-splits VG+

Inner Sleeve: plain white, clean, EXC

Labels: a few very light spindle marks, no writing, very clean EXC+

Vinyl: hairlines and a few scuffs (non-sounding),non-intrusive background crackling om Planet Caravan, rest EXC - overall VG++ to EXC

Strong and vibrant sound.

A very respectable copy of a landmark album.

I checked the Sleeve again because I got some mails and obviously buyers are keen for this first sleeve with the Big Bear credit: ring-wear and a bit rub-off (like described) front, back and edges - Gatefold Inside a few small spots, upper right has a minor seam-split (it is not deteactable immediately that is why I overlooked it in the first instance). I do not repair or tape it (it is approx 7 cm) and leave this up to the,buyer. Rest is firm.
