BLACK SABBATH PARANOID 1970 UK VERTIGO RECORDS 6360 011
Labels: Large swirl label. Swirl side looks great, information side has an orange-ish smudge on the left side. Other than that it seems fine. Please see pictures. (VG/VG+)
Cover: At first glance, it looks better than it really is. Generally, it's got a smooth, non-marked surface with good colors, minor ringwear and a few little age bumps 'n' bends. But there are puncture marks (that do not go through to the inside) on both the front and the back of this gatefold cover. (see pictures please) The spine has some squareness to it and can still (mostly) be read, but it also is worn a bit. No Big Bear credit. The inside has some browning on the top, but otherwise is clean (VG-/VG)
Vinyl: It's got a consistent crackle, and it's not necessarily a quiet crackle. Planet Caravan suffers the most, being the quietest song. Also, the first 2 or 3 minutes of Side 1 are pretty rough. Fairies Wear Boots may be the best sounding song on the album, and that just touches VG+. The vinyl is a pretty consistent VG-/VG. The good news is that there are no jumps, skips, sticks, etc. (VG-/VG)
It looks about average. It looks good straight on but one can see flaws, scratches, when correctly tilted toward a light. (VG/VG+)
Inner sleeve: Original Vertigo. It's a little faded, and there is about a 1.5 inch seam split on the side. There is some wrinkling. Other than that, it is clean. (VG+) Album will come in a separate inner sleeve.
