BLACK SABBATH – Paranoid (1970) UK Vertigo Swirl original pressing

Original 10-track pressing on the UK Vertigo swirl label, issued in 1970 . . . . Cat No: 6360 011 . . . . 1Y//1 & 2Y//1 matrices

Appears to be an original pressing, 2nd variation as it has the original unlaminated gatefold sleeve without Big Bear management credit; also there's no gap between Hand Of Doom & Rat Salad.

Vinyl: Side 1 = G+; Side 2 = G+; both sides are extensively marked with occasional clicks. The only heavy scratch is on side 1 track 2 (see photo) resulting in a few heavy clicks, but no skips. Audio quality is VG except for the few quiet passages, notably during “Planet Caravan” and “Hand Of Doom”. Phenomenal sound on this pressing, particularly the bass and drums.

Labels: clean and unmarked with extensive spindle marks.

Cover: good condition with some wear along edges; unfortunately no swirl inner, has ordinary white poly-lined inner (see photos).

Records are graded in accordance with the Record Collector grading system, with + or – used where appropriate to give a more accurate grade.

All items are suitably packaged to ensure full protection against damage during transit. I always use THICK card when mailing records.
