BLACK SABBATH "Paranoid"

1973 UK reissue vinyl LP with laminated gatefold cover VG+/VG+*

WWA007 (WWA - Phonogram)

1973 reissue of original 1970 UK album

Paranoid is the second studio album by Black Sabbath. Released in September 1970, it was the band's only album to top the UK Albums Chart until the release of 13 in 2013. Paranoid features several signature songs, including "War Pigs", "Iron Man", "Fairies Wear Boots" and the title track "Paranoid" which was the band's only Top 20 hit, reaching number 4 in the UK charts. The album has been the focus of many accolades, including Rolling Stone in 2017 calling it the greatest metal album of all time. Discogs

VG+ vinyl - glossy vinyl with hairlines but nothing that detracts from listening + clean labels.

VG+ cover - some minor creasing, rubbing to corners and a tiny amount of laminate peeling on spine (please see pics). No marks or writing. Poly-lined paper inner sleeve.

Play tested - plays LOUD and great throughout with only minimal surface hiss - SUPERB!

See pics for tracks.

  • All records are from my personal collection, which has grown over many years to now require a bit of a 'cull'.
  • All records will be packaged securely in their inner sleeve and removed from their outer cover, placed within polythene sleeves and strong corrugated card mailers with bubble wrap for added protection. I make no profit from p&p.
  • I will post all records using Royal Mail 2nd class (normally 3-5 working days) and send within 72 hours of receipt of payment but please allow up to 10  days for delivery.
  • I will combine postage for multiple purchases – e.g. £4.80p&p for 2 x LPs. Please request invoice before payment.
  • I do NOT accept returns, as I believe I have graded each item carefully and accurately. However, any genuine cause for complaint or disappointment following a purchase will be considered and actioned appropriately, upon direct communication. If, for any reason you are not satisfied, please contact me direct and I shall look to resolve the matter immediately. Please do not post negative feedback before allowing me to rectify any unlikely issue
  • Feel free to ask any questions about the item while the auction is open.
  • Please note I am unable to play every record prior to auction. Therefore all vinyl grading is subject to visual inspection only unless 'Play Tested' is specified.
  • I have adopted and adapted the 'Vinyl Factory Vinyl Grading System' by Tom Fisher - http: www.thevinylfactory.com/vinyl-factory-releases/a-comprehensive-guide-to-grading-vinyl-records/ :

*Grading order: vinyl/cover

Near Mint (NM) – The record has been on a shelf between other records. The vinyl looks glossy and clearly has only been played a few times. There are no significant marks on the vinyl and the whole package is complete. The outer and inner cover, along with all additional items, show no obvious signs of wear or damage.

Excellent (EX) – very light marks and hairlines where the vinyl has been in and out of the inner sleeve a few times, or tiny signs of use generally. The outer and inner cover, along with any additional items, show only minor signs of wear or damage. All items are complete. There may be minor marks on the labels and around the spindle holes.

Very Good Plus (VG+) – A few further faults but nothing that really compromises the record visually or audibly. Possibly a little rubbing, light inaudible marks or a little background crackle. The outer and inner cover, along with any additional items may show more obvious signs of wear, damage or loss. There may be stickers, writing on the cover and/or labels.

Very Good (VG) – Light pops and clicks and light visible scratches. Some elements of the outer and inner cover and any additional items may be visibly damaged or incomplete but generally in very good order for listening and collecting.
