Details:

Lot of 5 average condition hard rock LP records. All records cleaned, visually inspected, and playgraded. Records are in VG condition based on grading criteria listed below. Lot includes all records as pictured.

1. Black Sabbath - We Sold Our Soul For Rock n Roll (Warner Brothers Double LP Release). Visually inspected and playgraded. Some light surface markings on all four sides. Sides 1/2/4 play with moderate to light surface noise. Slightly above average looking/sounding album sides. No skips noted on any of the tracks. I grade Sides 1/2/4 as a VG (Near VG+) condition album sides. Side 3 plays with some annoying "ticks" at the beginning of Track 1. Noted a couple skips on S3/T1. No other skips noted on Side 3 and remaining Side 3 tracks play VG. Due to issues noted, downgrading Side 3 to an average sounding album side. I grade Side 3 as a VG (average) condition album side. Gatefold cover: Average condition (VG) with basic wear and tear. Inner gatefold colour/condition look good, no issues. Inner sleeves: Warner Brothers paper sleeves as shown, not significant.

2. Queensryche – Self-Titled Debut EP (EMI Release). Visually inspected and playgraded. Side 1: Visually, surface markings noted. Played and noted moderate surface noise. No skips noted on any of the Side 1 tracks. Average looking/sounding record album side. I grade Side 1 as a VG condition album side. Side 2: Visually, surface markings and a notable light scratch that spans first part S2/T1. Played and noted moderate surface noise, and a repeatable skip at beginning of S2/T1. No other skips noted on any of the Side 2 tracks. Due to skip noted, downgrading Side 2 to a VG- (Near VG) condition album side. Cover: Average condition (VG) with basic wear and tear. Inner sleeve: Not significant.

3. Ratt – Out of the Cellar (Atlantic Release). Visually inspected and playgraded. Visually, surface markings noted on both sides. Played and noted moderate surface noise. No skips noted on any of the tracks. Average looking/sounding record. I grade this as a VG condition record. Cover: Average condition (VG) with basic wear and tear. Inner sleeve: Atlantic paper sleeve as shown, not significant.

4. Triumph – Allied Forces (RCA Release). Visually inspected and playgraded. Side 1: Visually, surface markings noted and notable scuffs that span T1 and T2. Played and noted moderate surface noise. No skips noted on any of the Side 1 tracks. Slightly below average looking and average sounding album side (it plays better than it looks). Due to surface scuff markings, I grade Side 1 as a VG- (Near VG) condition album side. Side 2. Visually, moderate surface markings. Played and noted moderate surface noise and one brief skip at the beginning of S2/T1. No other skips noted on any of the Side 2 tracks. Average looking/sounding record album side. I grade Side 2 as a VG condition album side. Cover: Average condition (VG) with basic wear and tear. Inner sleeve: Original as shown, average condition.

5. Thin Lizzy - Jailbreak (Mercury Release). Visually inspected, and playgraded. Side 1: Visually, moderate surface markings Brief skip noted on S1/T1 and S1/T4 and all tracks play with moderate surface noise. Slightly below average looking/sounding album side. I grade Side 1 as a VG- (Near VG) condition album side. Side 2: Visually, moderate surface markings noted. Played and noted some moderate surface noise. No skips noted on any of the Side 2 tracks. Average looking/sounding record album side. I grade Side 2 as a VG condition album side. Cover: Average condition (VG) with basic wear and tear. Inner sleeve: Not significant.

Records listed have been cleaned using a Nitty Gritty 1.5 cleaning system.

I do my best to be fair and honest with my record grading assessments.  I will provide as much detail as possible to give potential buyers everything they need to know about the product(s) you are bidding on. I inspect and grade all vinyl by either listening to or visually inspecting under bright lighting. If play graded, it will be noted. Major anomalies will be noted. Bid with confidence as returns are accepted.

Vinyl Grading Classification:

(SS) Still Sealed = Sealed in original shrink wrap. Anomalies (Saw cuts, cut-out holes, creases, etc.) will be noted.

(NM) Near Mint = A superb LP record that is nearly perfect. No visible defects, appears to be new, except without the sealed shrink wrap. A good description of a NM record is ?It looks like it just came from a retail store and it was opened for the first time.? 

(EX) Excellent = An LP record that is very close to (NM) with minor defects allowed.

(VG+) Very Good Plus = An LP record that has been played, but well cared for.  It may show light wear, such as light scratches or scuffs.

(VG) Very Good = An LP record that exhibits signs of use. Limited scuffs and scratches causing moderate surface noise that will be evident upon playing.  Defects should not overpower the music.

(VG-) Very Good Minus = An LP record considered acceptable. The record will play through but with significant surface noise and possible skips.  Well used vinyl.

(G) Good = An LP record marginally acceptable. LP exhibits visible scratches, significant skips/jumps and bad surface noise.

Note: I do not sell records below a 'Good' rating unless collectible.

Cover Grading Classification:

(NM) Near Mint = LP cover has no creases, folds, seam splits or other noticeable defects. No cut-out holes, either. The same is true for any inserts, posters, lyric sleeves and the like.

(EX) Excellent = LP cover very close to NM, minor defects allowed.

(VG+) Very Good Plus = LP cover may have slight signs of wear and may also be marred by a cut-out hole, indentation or corner indicating it was taken out of print and sold at a discount.  Inner sleeve and will have some moderate wear, and may have lightly turned up corners.

(VG) Very Good = LP cover may have light to moderate ring wear, some tape, stickers, glue, writing, a small seam split, but not all of these defects. Too many of these types of defects will degrade the cover to a Good (G) classification.

(G) Good = LP cover shows signs of significant wear that includes seam splits (especially at the bottom or on the spine) and worn corners. Tape, writing, ring wear or other defects will start to overwhelm the object.

(F) Fair = LP cover that barely holds and protects the record. LP cover may include (but not all) the following defects: marred by wear, writing, water damage, seam splits on all three sides, inner sleeve seams splits, crinkled and written upon. If it is a common LP cover/sleeve, you'll need to find another copy in better shape to replace it.

Shipping:

USA Domestic: I do not gouge customers on shipping and handling fees. Domestic shipments will be shipped via USPS Economy Media Mail so I can pass savings along to customers. USPS Media Mail shipments can take up to 10 business days to arrive depending on location. All shipments include a USPS tracking number with delivery conformation. Handling time is 1 to 2 business days.

Packaging:

LPs will be boxed carefully in a corrugated box made specifically for LPs to protect the cover.  LP package will include a clear plastic outer sleeve. LP will be removed from cover for shipping to prevent seam splitting (unless sealed).

 Winning Multiple Listings:

If buyer wins multiple listings I will combine shipping costs. If you win multiple listings please wait for the Invoice before making payment so I can accurately adjust shipping costs.
