Description

I have shown 12 photos of this UK Made in England Black Sabbath self titled 1st LP on Vertigo Records from 1970. It is catalogue number VO 6 847 903 VTY and it has 1Y / 2Y Matrix numbers. The disc itself is visually in EX condition on side 1 and near mint condition on side 2. It has a lovely lustre to it and I have play tested it on my Thorens TD 160 Turntable. Apart from 3 light fairly quiet ticks at the very start of track 1 it plays beautifully throughout. It plays with a very punchy full sound and what a cracker of a record this is. Blues influences throughout. Apart from the 3 light ticks at the start of track 1 i would grade this as near mint. The labels are both very clean and there is hardly any trace of play apart from a couple of very fine wispy spindle marks each side. The sleeve is really lovely and flat and extremely clean and well looked after with a great spine easily EX+ The inner sleeve is very clean and easily EX+ I would have no hesitation in saying this disc and sleeve will definitely upgrade a lot of copies out there.
