Black sabbath Self titled debut vinyl LP Early UK press from 1970 on the Vertigo Swirl label
Cat no. 847 903 VTY
VO 6 1Y*1 420 and VO 6 2Y*1 420 matrices
Vinyl is in nice condition. Still clean and bright with a few faint sleeve removal scuffs visible under strong light and a few hairlines. VG+
Audio is really great. Plays through crisp and clear with no sticks, jumps or loud pops. Very little surface noise even between tracks. A great listen. EX Labels are very clean with no writing, stickers or other damage. Just some light spindle trails on either side but not overplayed. VG+
Original gatefold sleeve is also very clean and solid with no splits or other damage. Inside gatefold still in great condition. Spine still solid and readable. Opening edge still sharp. Just very light edgewear but otherwise this is VG+
original swirl Inner has no splits or tears but with some minor age related yellowing and only light signs of handling. EX
Overall a really nice copy of this rare first pressing. VG+/VG+

Gradings;
Mint: The record itself is in brand new condition with no surface marks or deterioration in sound quality. The cover and any extra items such as the lyric sheet, booklet or poster are in perfect condition.
Excellent: The record shows some signs of having been played, but there is very little lessening of sound quality. The cover and packaging might have slight wear and / or creasing.
Very Good: The record has obviously been played many times, but displays no major deterioration in sound quality, despite noticeable surface marks and the occasional light scratch. Normal wear and tear on the cover or extra items, without any major defects, is acceptable.
Good: The record has been played so much that the sound quality has noticeably deteriorated, perhaps with some distortion and mild scratches. The cover and contents suffer from folding, scuffing of edges, spine splits, discolouration etc..
Fair: The record is still just playable but has not been cared for properly and displays considerable surface noise: it may even jump. The cover and contents will be badly damaged or partly missing.
Poor: The record will not play properly due to scratches, bad surface noise etc.. The cover and contents will be badly damaged or partly missing.
Bad: The record is unplayable or might even be broken, and is only of use as a collection filler.
