Lacquer Cut @ Artisan Sound Recorders
What can even be said about an album that introduced the world to a new level of rock sound and musicianship? Dynamics, power and spine-chilling intensity. And it swings! This one ushered in a sound that only the Sabs themselves were able to truly expound upon. This is the original US issue with stampers piping hot from the presses with simply astonishing sonics. Hardly ever seen and when you do come across this the chances are high that it'll be beat up, whereas this is an absolute stunner! Cut at Artisan this competes with any worldwide cut and while everyone can drool over the "UK," let's face it, you get "Wicked World" here and it's just a better overall album as a result. Some bands came up with a sound that could shake walls, whereas this will literally produce the rumblings of an earthquake.
