Ozzy's plaintiff wailing was at it's beginnings, but an intent and powerful start has never been relented from - it's pure Sabbath as we know it!
The great heavy rock riffs only work when the whole band do - and so it is demonstrated so well here. The drum and cymbals from Bill Ward compliment Tony Iommi's guitar screams and pounds, while the basswork of Geezer Butler makes you realise how good he really is! People rave about 'Flea' of the Chili Peppers now, but listen to Geezer on this!
TREMENDOUS debut LP by any standards, and in very nice playing shape.
The vinyl is EX, full sheen - and plays great too.
The clean Lables grade EX
The gatefold-sleeve card cover grades EX, due to one scratch to the front, it's on the witch's black robe so isn't obvious.
