BLACK SABBATH Sabbath Bloody Sabbath UK GATEFOLD TEXTURED INNER 1Y/2Y Metal Rock
Black Sabbath, Sabbath Bloody Sabbath.
1973 England pressed WWA Records stereo LP, WWA 005.
A very early, possibly first pressing. There are many variations to this press however, so main issue points as follows:
- Matt gatefold sleeve with "wwa 005 super de luxe" to top right corner of rear panel.
- "Manufactured and Printed in England" to bottom centre of rear panel.
- WWA flat (without rising ring) labels.
- 'WWA' in a silver colour to labels at 12 o'clock with "WWA005" at 3 o'clock.
- Slightly "rice paper" type lightly textured inner lyrics sleeve with bottom corners square shaped at 90 degrees and top corners shaped at 45 degrees.
- 1Y/2Y matrix suffixes.
Vinyl visually EX. Surfaces are still glossy and display just a few light scuff marks.
Playback overall a conservative VG. Some crackle and a very few soft to mid-level ticks A2. B4 intro a little crackle. Other minor crackle and an occasional isolated soft tick. This all behind the music however. Large areas of the LP play EX and the surfaces are overall quiet..
Labels are clean and unmarked with just light spindle activity.
Inner sleeve EX, no splits.
External matt gatefold sleeve a strong VG. Structurally in good order with sound extremities. Spine intact and tidy and just a few whitening spots to tips and egdes. Front panel has some whitening rubbing, rear panel has some ringwear and edge darkening. Inner of gatefold EX.
