Description

Up for sale is a beautiful vintage copy of Black Sabbath’s fifth studio album, Sabbath Bloody Sabbath. This is the classic Warner Bros. US pressing featuring the iconic "Burbank" palm tree labels.


The Matrix / Runout:

​Side I: BS-2695 40432-A-WB

​Side II: BS-2-2695 WW2 40433-B-WB

(Hand-etched matrix confirms authenticity and specific pressing plant details).


Condition Report:

​Vinyl (VG+): The wax is in spectacular condition. It retains a high-gloss, deep mirror-like shine. Very few, if any, visible sleeve wisps. Labels are clean with no spindle wear.

​Cover (VG): The gatefold jacket is extremely sharp. Still partially in the original shrink wrap, which has protected the vibrant artwork for decades. Minimal corner wear where the shrink is open. No splits or heavy ring wear. It does have a cut in the cover. (See Pictures)

​Inner Sleeve: Includes the rare original Warner Bros. "Your Limo Is Ready" promotional inner sleeve, dating this specific pressing to approximately 1977.



Unique Bonus:

​Included with this record is a vintage Job Order & Invoice from "Performance" (Rego Park Quick Copy Corp) dated October 1979. This adds a wonderful layer of "time capsule" provenance to the album, showing its history through the late 70s New York music scene.
