THE SIXTH Sabbath studio album recorded under trying circumstances in Miami - Ozzy was in and out of the band like a bouncing ball at this point. The material is slightly more diverse, at times easing off the heaviousity gass pedal a tad in favour of a more textured but not necessarily less exciting approach. The big dense layered tracks such as 'Back Street Kids, 'Gypsy' and 'All Moving Parts (Stand Still)' make mincemeat of stuff on 'Sabbath Bloody Sabbath' and the bone crushing simplicity of 'Rock 'N' Roll Doctor' and 'Dirty Women' place Iommi at the top of the heap when it comes to delivering killer riffs. Sadly this album has all but been overlooked in the great Sabbath cannon but in retrospect it contains some pretty formiddable tracks with Iommi unleashing a volley of serious riffs.
Tough to find in decent shape these days as the predominantly white cover is often found trashed or badly worn. This one is in beautiful condition - pretty much how it looked on the week of release.
This auction is part of a fantastic collection of seventies rock which I was lucky enough to acquire. Most of these records were stored with the utmost care and sparsely played. Some were possibly never played or may have been for just a handful of times.

Vinyl: Super clean condition with no signs of any use and no spindle marks. Grades as shop fresh MINT!
Cover: Again, only minor signs of any use. Issued in a beautifully illustrated cover (by Hipgnosis). Sharp corners, no ding, no bends, no ring wear, no split seams and some crease flecks near spine. Spine is perfectly square, stiff, straight and uncrushed. Grades as MINT-!
