Paranoid / Black Sabbath & Evil Woman / Black SabbathExtremely Rare BMG Manufacturing Test Press Pair
Offered here is a highly unusual pair of genuine 7" test pressings manufactured during production of the 2016 Black Sabbath box set, The Ten Year War.
The two records are:
• Black Sabbath / Paranoid• Black Sabbath / Evil Woman
Both discs remain housed in their original factory sleeves with production labels dated May 2016. These were manufactured for approval purposes during the production process and were never intended for retail sale.
A common point of confusion is that some collectors expect one of the singles to contain "The Wizard". However, both these test pressings correspond to the commercial 7" singles included in The Ten Year War box set and feature "Black Sabbath" paired with either "Paranoid" or "Evil Woman".
Condition:Excellent overall. The records have been carefully stored since manufacture. As with most test pressings, they were produced for evaluation rather than retail presentation.
A superb opportunity to acquire a genuine pair of Black Sabbath test pressings from one of the band's most celebrated box set releases.
