The format typed is exactly how the record is stamped and both sides are precisely that of the very first pressing made, quite
what the digits I placed inside the brackets after the main sections mean, I have no idea. I have seen some amusing guesswork
from sellers who pretend to know their meaning, but there is only one major fact here, all Phillips/ Fontana/ Vertigo etc. very
first pressings in the 60's & 70's had a definite starting point. This record is a prime example and there are close up pictures
of both sides, so many of Vertigo's albums sold so poorly only one pressing was required or made, so this applies to albums with
healthy sales. The suffix or ending indexing of pressing batches after the catalogue number(prefix), have digits, letters and
seperating symbols like this;

SIDE 2: 2 Y // 1

THE UK'S MASTER VINYL CUTTER, GEORGE PECKHAM, HAS HIS LOGO'S SCRIBED ON EITHER SIDE, AS:
"Pecko" & Porky".
The above shows very first pressing made before, September, 1972, please see the close up pictures of both machine stamped
maitrixes and one of the hand scribed logo on Side 1 only. That was coveniently scribed between the maitrix but twelve pictures
was just not enough and I had to make compromises for the 18 pictures I took and would have liked to display but had to delete.

ORIGINAL VERTIGO 'Swirl' INNNER SLEEVE, COMPLETE WITH THE POLY-LINING IN PERFECT CONDITION.
The original 1972 inner sleeve has Vertigo's spiral design round the die-cut centre matching the spiral labels rather splendidly.
So many were split and torn over the years, they are now very rare in such strong condition, without any split seams or damage to
the poly lining, still at full strength to hold the very heavy record. I place all my records into new plain white inner sleeves
to make sure they remain unsplit. Just some expected ageing to the colour and the record's impression, I had to delete a picture
of one side,they both have the same appearance, fairly light natural ageing and the rest was down to the gluewhich I will get to.
The original 1972 inner sleeve has a Vertigo spiral design round the die-cut centre, matching the spiral labels rather splendidly.
Please see the picture of the sleeve, along with the natural ageing process, the glue underneath used to secure the poly lining
tends to give the impression of staining. Positively not on the outside, just how the glue soaked into the very absorbant paper.
WITHOUT SIDE OR BOTTOM CENTRE SPLITS, SOME MILD AGEING, IN EXCELLENT+++/NEAR MINT CONDITION.
