In my humble opinion, the best Sabbath LP of them all. The original line up at their peak.

The Sleeve
A superb example of a classic Album sleeve. This sleeve is prone to ring wear, and loss of colour, resulting in most cases a very shabby sleeve. NOT SO with this beautiful copy. Firstly it is the original sleeve and not sme reisuue. The original Catalogue number is not only on the spine, but on the back of the sleeve under VOL 4 as it should be. There is NO ringwear whatsoever, and absolute minimal colour wear. What there is can only be seen near the spine, but as I say in is very very minimal.
Inside the sleeve the booklet is perfectly fixed to the spine and has clearly never been removed . Some superb shots of the band during live performances. Sleeve is made by Howards of Slough England, again which is correct for the first pressing.
The Vinyl
This is without question a superb high quality Mint- pressing. For me to list this as such it has to pass my three tests.
Firstly I always fully playgrade any LP that I list, and test one is to push the volume up to see or rather listen for any distortion caused by either too much playtime, or the use of a very heavy stylus. This PASSED THE TEST with flying colours. No distortion at all. ( the neighbours can test to that as well)
Test two is to report any background crackle caused by deep seated dirt, or by surface marks on the vinyl. Here again this LP PASSED THE TEST. Not one bit of crackle anywhere. Not when the stylus is first introduced to the Vinyl, nor during any track, and not even between the tracks.
Test three is my irritation test. In other words, was I irritated by anything I heard or that happened whilst the LP was playing. In particular I will be listening for skips, jumps, and pops and hisses. I realise this is personal, but a s a collector of over 30 years i suspect my irritations would be shared by the majority of other collectors. This vinyl PASSED THE TEST. I didn't hear any nasties at all, anywhere on the LP.
The Vinyl itself is in superb condition . Full sheen, and beautifully clean. Only under the most intense light can any hairlines be made out. The labels are as perfect as you would want them. Great spiral side, and pure white track list side.
So here it is an absolutely stunning example of Black sabbath Volume 4
