This record has been vacuum machine cleaned and test played in full on quality hi-fi. My grading is based on the UK record collector grading system.  I will gladly combine postage on multiple items so check out my other records. Thanks

Details:- From my own personal collection - Rare original 1974 1st UK pressing of Black Sabbath Vol.4 on the original Vertigo Swirl label, 6360 071.Matrix numbers 1/1 2/1.Stampers 1/1. 1st issue labels with large swirl at 12.00 o'clock postion on B Side. 6360071 1Y//1  1 21 4 + hand-etched ''porky'' . 6360070 2Y//1  1 1 6 + hand-etched word ''pecko''. Please note I dont have the swirl inner. The record is now in a plain white poly-lined inner sleeve

Vinyl Condition:- NEAR MINT. Superb well looked after condition and sound quality is second to none. The vinyl gleams like new. I can only see a couple of  tiny light marks under very bright light and these are not audible at all. This record has been fully test played before this auction 

Sleeve Condition:- VG+ The sleeve has a little light speckling on the front near the edges, a small crease on the bottom right corner and the original owners name at the top right hand corner. The back also has some. There is light speckled wear on the edges and corners. The spine is crisp and fully readable and inside the gatefold and booklet is all in excellent condition

Label Condition:- EX+ Nice clean labels with no wear and just a few very light spindle marks

Grading below is as stated from UK Record Collector. I also use +/- for records that fall somewhere between a grade

MINT: I only used this grade for new or unplayed records. I use the grade NEAR MINT
If a record has been played, even if the condition of the record and sleeve is perfect.

Mint (M)

The record itself is in brand new condition with no surface marks or deterioration in sound quality. The cover and any extra items such as the lyric sheet. booklet or poster are in perfect condition. Records marked as Sealed or Unplayed should be Mint.

Excellent (EX)

The record shows some signs of having been played, but there is very little lessening in sound quality. The cover and packaging might have slight wear and/or creasing.

Very Good (VG)

The record has obviously been played many times, but displays no major deterioration in sound quality, despite noticeable surface marks and the occasional light scratch. Normal wear and tear on the cover or extra items, without any major defects is acceptable

Good (G)

The record has been played so much that the sound quality has noticeably deteriorated, perhaps with some distortion and mild scratches. The cover and contents suffer from folding, scuffing of edges, spine splits, discolouration, etc

Fair (F)

The record is still just playable but has not been cared for properly and displays considerable surface noise; it may even jump. The cover and contents will be torn, stained and/or defaced.

Poor (P)

The record will not play properly due to scratched, bad surface noise, etc. The cover and contents will be badly damaged or partly missing

Bad (B)

The record is unplayable or might even be broken, and is only of use as a collection-filler

CD’s and CASSETTES

As a general rule CD’s and Cassettes either play perfectly – in which case they are in Mint condition – or they don’t, in which case their value is minimal. Cassette tape is liable to deteriorate with age, even if it remains unplayed, so care should be taken when buying old tapes. CD’s are difficult to grade visually; they can look perfect but actually be faulty, while in other cases they may appear damaged but still play perfectly. Cassette and CD inlays and booklets should be graded in the same way as record covers and sleeves. In general, the plastic containers for cassettes and CDs can easily be replaces if they are broken or scratched, but card covers and digipaks are subject to the same wear as record sleeves.
