THIS IS AN AUCTION FOR THE FOURTH LP BY BLACK SABBATH ENTITLED VOLUME 4 RELEASED BY VERTIGO RECORDS IN THE UK IN 1972 CATALOGUE NUMBER 6360 071. THIS COPY IS A FIRST PRESS WITH THE MATRIX NUMBERS OF 6360071 1Y//1 ON SIDE 1 AND 6360071 2Y//1 ON SIDE 2. IT ALSO HAS "PORKY" AND "PECKO" WRITTEN IN THE RUNOUT GROOVES.

THE VINYL IS VISUALLY IN VERY GOOD++ CONDITION AND LOOKS REALLY NICE. THERE ARE VERY LIGHT SUPERFICIAL MARKS CAUSED WHE TAKING THE LP OUT OF THE SLEEVE. THE LP SITS NICE AND FLAT ON THE TURNTABLE AND WAS OVERALL A PLEASURE TO LISTEN TOO. THERE IS SOME BACKGROUND NOISE DURING PLAYBACK AND ONE LIGHT SKIPS DURING "WHEELS OF CONFUSION" BUT THIS DID NOT DETRACT FROM MY LISTENING EXPERIENCE. I WOULD GRADE THE AUDIO AS BEING VERY GOOD.

THE LABELS ARE IN EXCELLENT CONDITION .

THE GATEFOLD SLEEVE IS IN VERY GOOD CONDITION. THERE IS SOME STORAGE WEAR TO THE EDGES AND SPINE WHICH IS HEAVIER AT THE TOP OF THE SPINE. THERE ARE SOME SMALL AREAS OF WEAR ON THE SLEEVE BUT THE BEST THING IS TO LOOK AT THE PHOTO'S. THE BOOKLET IS STILL ATTACHED AND IN EXCELLENT CONDITION.

THE LP COMES WITH ITS ORIGINAL SWIRL INNER BAG BUT WILL BE SENT IN A NEW INNER SPERATE FROM THE SLEEVE.

The Lp will be sent in professional mailers and will be sent in the Uk at a cost of £3.00. The cost of postage in Europe is £8.00 which includes international signed for delivery as mandatory . Anyone bidding who does not have feedback will have their bid cancelled straight away. I am very sorry about this but again this is due to problems experienced in the past. Grading:- MINT: The record itself is in brand new condition with no surface marks or deterioration in sound quality. The cover and any extra items such as the lyric sheet, booklet or poster are in perfect condition. Records advertised as Sealed or Unplayed should be Mint.

EXCELLENT: The record shows some signs of having been played, but there is very little lessening in sound quality. The cover and packaging might have slight wear and/or creasing.

VERY GOOD: The record has obviously been played many times, but displays no major deterioration in sound quality, despite noticeable surface marks and the occasional light scratch. Normal wear and tear on the cover or extra items, without any major defects, is acceptable.

GOOD: The record has been played so much that the sound quality has noticeably deteriorated, perhaps with some distortion and mild scratches. The cover and contents suffer from folding, scuffing of edges, spine splits, discoloration, etc.

FAIR: The record is still just playable but has not been cared for properly and displays considerable surface noise; it may even jump.
The cover and contents will be torn, stained and/or defaced
