ULTRA RARE Terre Haute pressing from 1974? on Warner Brothers' palm tree label with NO warner logo in the lower rim text, 39728-1/39729-2 etched in the dead wax, respectively, on sides one and two, Artisan dead wax stamp on both sides and Loss Leaders inner sleeve with detachable mail-in coupon dated 1974!!! Release year is unclear as there isn't a single entry for this pressing anywhere in the massive, sprawling Discogs database whatsoever. THAT'S how you know it's rare. LP is a beautiful VG++/NM-. Cover is VG with some edge wear. This is the copy you want to play and enjoy. One of, if not THE most important album in the entire history of metal. This was the shot heard 'round the world when released to an unsuspecting public 55 years ago(!) and remains one the very few LPs to have altered the entire musical landscape upon release. Incalculably influential, every fan of metal NEEDS this LP.
