Description
BLACK SABBATH
BLACK SABBATH
Cat No: VERTIGO VO 6
Released Friday February 13th 1970 in the UK....the US release was 4 months later on 1 June
This is a UK 1st Pressing, it is very rare and it is also in "superb" condition.
The sleeve was done as a double LP with the left sleeve glued up. Inside, the background is black, on the second US release the background is white. The UK pressing has "Evil Woman" as the first song of side two, whereas the US pressing has "Wicked World". The credits, which are inside the inverted cross inside the sleeve have "OSSIE OSBOURNE" instead of "OZZY OSBOURNE". Again, this only happens on the 1st pressing. The condition of the Sleeve I will put as a very strong EXCELLENT
The Inner Sleeve is the original plastic lined, Vertigo swirly design and apart from a little yellowing is in superb condition, so I also give it an EXCELLENT grading
The Vinyl looks as if it has hardly been played, one or two paper scratches maybe. The labels which also have the Vertigo swirls on them are perfect. The sound quality is also superb. I also give the Vinyl a very strong EXCELLENT
The tracks: Black Sabbath/The Wizard/Behind the Wall of Sleep/N.I.B Evil Woman/Sleeping Village/Warning
As with all my records this will be enclosed within a plastic sleeve and posted with the use of stiffeners. It will be despatched immediately on receipt of payment..thanks for looking!!
