Description

THIS IS AN AUCTION FOR THE SECOND LP BY BLACK SABBATH ENTITLED PARANOID RELEASED ON THE VERTIGO LABEL IN 1970 CATALOGUE NUMBER 6360 011. THIS IS A GENUINE UK FIRST PRESS WITH THE MATRIX NUMBERS 6360011 1Y//1 AND 6360011 2Y//1. IT ALSO HAS THE BIG SWIRL ON THE LABEL AND ALL THE CORRECT LABEL CREDITS MAKING IT A FIRST PRESS.

THE VINYL IS IN VERY GOOD+++ CONDITION , SOME MIGHT EVEN SAY EXCELLENT. THERE ARE ONE OR TWO VERY LIGHT SUPERFICIAL MARKS MAINLY CAUSED WHEN TAKING THE LP OUT OF THE SLEEVE. THE LP SITS NICE AND FLAT ON THE TURNTABLE AND PLAYS REALLY NICELY. THERE IS SOME LIGHT BACKGROUND NOISE IN PLACES AND ONE OR TWO LIGHT TICKS BUT NOTHING THAT DISTRACTS FROM THE SOUND WHICH IS CLEAR AND VIBRANT AND SOUNDS GREAT. OVERALL I WOULD GRADE THE AUDIO AS VERY GOOD+++.

THE LABELS ARE IN EXCELLENT CONDITION.

THE GATEFOLD SLEEVE IS ALSO IN VERY GOOD CONDITION WITH SOME STORAGE WEAR TO THE EDGES AND CORNERS. IT STILL LOOKS VERY GOOD WHEN IT IS OPENED.

THE LP COMES WITH THE ORIGINAL SWIRLY VERTIGO INNER SLEEVE

OVERALL A REALLY NICE COPY OF A CLASSIC LP

PLEASE TAKE A LOOK AT MY OTHER LISTINGS FOR OTHER CLASSIC ROCK LPS

I use the Record Collector guide to grade my records-see below

The Lp will be sent in professional mailers and will be sent in the Uk recorded/special delivery at a cost of  £2.50. I will pay the extra. The cost of postage in Europe is £8.00 and will include international signed for as mandatory . Anyone bidding who does not have feedback will have their bid cancelled straight away. I am very sorry about this but this is due to problems experienced in the past. Anyone without feedback and who wants to bid please contact me first.

Grading:- MINT: The record itself is in brand new condition with no surface marks or deterioration in sound quality. The cover and any extra items such as the lyric sheet, booklet or poster are in perfect condition. Records advertised as Sealed or Unplayed should be Mint.

EXCELLENT:
The record shows some signs of having been played, but there is very little lessening in sound quality. The cover and packaging might have slight wear and/or creasing.

VERY GOOD:
The record has obviously been played many times, but displays no major deterioration in sound quality, despite noticeable surface marks and the occasional light scratch. Normal wear and tear on the cover or extra items, without any major defects, is acceptable.

GOOD:
The record has been played so much that the sound quality has noticeably deteriorated, perhaps with some distortion and mild scratches. The cover and contents suffer from folding, scuffing of edges, spine splits, discoloration, etc
