FIRSTLY IT IS IMPORTANT TO MAKE CLEAR - THAT THIS IS NOT THE SAME COPY I SOLD ONLY 4 WEEKS AGO. I HAVE BEEN EXCEPTIONALLY FORTUNATE TO PICK UP ANOTHER COPY OF THIS STUNNING SINGLE!!!! HOWEVER I CERTAINLY DO NOT EXPECT TO EVER PICK UP ANOTHER COPY OF THIS MASSIVE RARITY - SO DONT MISS THIS CHANCE!!!! THIS IS THE MEGA RARE 1972 DJ ONLY MAXI 45 WITH BLACK SABBATH 'CHILDREN OF THE GRAVE' ON THE A SIDE AND STATUS QUO 'ROADHOUSE BLUES' ON THE B SIDE. IT BOOKS IN THE RC PRICE GUIDE AT £400 AND IS SIMPLY A MASSIVE RARITY!!!! THIS RARE SINGLE WAS PRESSED BY PHONOGRAM AND WAS RELEASED TO PROMOTE THE VERTIGO LABEL AND WAS GIVEN TO RADIO DJs ONLY!!!! HOWEVER MORE IMPORTANTLY (ACCORDING TO VARIOUS PRICE GUIDES) IT IS THOUGHT THAT ONLY 100 COPIES WERE EVER PRESSED!!!! SO DONT MISS THIS MASSIVE OPPORTUNITY TO OWN ONE OF THE RAREST BLACK SABBATH/STATUS QUO RECORDS EVER!!!!
This is an ORIGINAL UK Phonogram DJ Only Pressing on the Phonogram Label (see pictures) and the Cat No is DJ 005 and is a UK pressing. The MACHINE STAMPED matrix numbers are is DJ 005 1F//1 420 & DJ 005 2F//2 420. Any fan of Black Sabbath, Status Quo, or 60s/70s music in general, will want to have this in their collection!!!!
The record labels are in STUNNING condition (see pictures) with NO wear, NO writing, and barely ANY spindle marks AT ALL!!!! THE LABELS ARE IN AWESOME CONDITION!!!! The record is in GREAT condition!!!! Most of these 60s/70s singles had been to a lot of wild parties and are usually found totally worn out, and almost unplayable. This one is NOT and has NO nasty deep scratches - however it does have some hairlines, some surface marks, and some VERY light scuffing only visible under light!!!! PLEASE NOTE - whilst this record isnt MINT (though the labels are AWESOME) most of the marks are light and this record is NOT trashed in any respect!!!! THE RECORD STILL RETAINS ALL OF ITS ORIGINAL 'JUST PRESSED' LOOK!!!! It is great to find that the playing of the record is as stunning as the visual!!!! It PLAYS STUNNINGLY with NO nasty loud pops, NO sticking, NO jumps, NO hiss and only some intermittent low level crackle!!!! There is NO groovewear either and NO distortion. Side A of the single must grade Very Good(Minus) if not Very Good - and Side B must grade Good++ (Both sides PROPERLY graded - NOT trashed)!!!! Believe me this record is NOT overgraded in ANY way!!!! I use STRICT RC grading standards - it is not in my interest not to!!!! Brillant!!!! THOUGH LETS BE HONEST - CONDITION IS ALMOST IRRELEVANT (THOUGH THIS IS A VERY NICE COPY & THE ALL IMPORTANT LABELS ARE AWESOME) - AS YOU SURELY WILL NEVER EVER SEE ANOTHER COPY OF THIS RECORD FOR A VERY VERY LONG TIME!!!! MOST PRICE GUIDES STATE THAT ONLY 100 COPIES OF THIS SINGLE WERE EVER PRESSED!!!! SO MOST (IF NOT ALL) ARE EITHER IN LONG TERM COLLECTIONS, OR HAVE BEEN LOST FOR EVER!!!! THIS COPY IS A GREAT COPY WITH AWESOME LABELS - SO DONT MISS THIS MEGA RARE OPPORTUNITY TO OWN ONE OF THE RAREST RECORDS YOU CAN FIND!!!!
