Back to the Rockin’ Fifties with this Mega Rare UK  Item and one of the most sought after rock’n’roll compilation of all time. It dates from 1957 and it is on the now legendary UK label HMV  ! Most of the 14 tracks of this album are great rockabilly or good 50s rock’n’roll.        It contains 14 tracks from 8 different artists : Joe BENNETT & Sparkletones ("Black Slacks", "Penny Loafers & Bobby Socks", "Boppin' Rock Boogie " "Rocket" ) Jack SCOTT "Two timin' woman "  Clint MILLER  ("Bertha Lou", "Doggone it Baby") , Johnny JANIS " All the time "  ... and also DANNY and the Juniors, Hoke Simpson & Billy Mure, Earl Williams, Alan Dale  

 

 

The frontally laminated Cover is clean without writting or tear. Bottom seam and spine are showing some wear but there's no split -  A tiny bit of cover is missing on the top and  bottom corners of opening edge. Overall vinyl is very clean . It doesn’t show much wear but some very few light scuffs and 3 or 4 light surface scratches .  Record plays very well all through without skipping but it has some moderate surface noise. Pops or crackles are often heard mainly during quiet passages of music or Play-in and  Play-off grooves.  Sound is good,  loud and wild . Listening condition varies depending of the tracks. Most of them being VG      RECORD SOLD WITH NO RESERVE -
