BLACK VELVET This Is Black Velvet UK BEACON A1/B1 FIRST Funk Soul

Black Velvet, This Is Black Velvet.

Original 1970 Beacon Records stereo LP, BEAS 16.

Original issue with black and white labels and earliest A1/B1 matrix suffixes.

Vinyl visually VG, surfaces still glossy but with some hairlines and scuff marks visible. No deep marks or scratches. Plays very much better than surfaces would suggest, and conservatively graded VG plus, although around 95% plus actually plays EX.

Penned names to both label sides, else labels are undamaged.

Sleeve around VG minus. Main panels have minor grubbiness and ringwear impression and there is a penned previous owner name to both front and rear. Top and bottom edges a little worn with small and neat centre seam splits no more than an inch long. Spine is still broadly intact with a few spots of surface loss. Titles are mostly intact. Corners worn through a little. Entry side is still crisp and not feathered.
