Essential Soul Funk on Fantasy with Breaks. “Love Is Love”, “April Showers”, “The Blackbyrds’ Theme”, “Spaced Out” and “The Baby” have all been used by hip hop producers over the years, and with good reason. The synth on “Future Children, Future Hopes” is also nice, and the vocal on “I Need You” is so damn catchy! So many reasons to own this album. Check the audio below, on youtube from other copies.
