An international EP comp from Positivesource, the four tracks contained on this monstrous hard trance compendium are like sonic wake-up slaps. '8am In Salford' by Blasha and Allatt, while not elucidating where in Salford they're alluding to, certainly conjures all sorts of images of famous rave venue The White Hotel, with its alternating strobe lights and menacing size. The production on every track here is massive, each one emphasizing its kicks and percussion before weaving in additional melodic layers. Spekki Webu's 'Elavation' is the best techno tune we've heard in a while too; it's not often you hear such a well-rounded unity of sounds glued so tightly together.
