Description
Original Vinyl ALBUM:
BEETHOVEN "Sonata No. 1 for Violincello and Piano" + "Sonata No. 2 for Violincello and Piano" (Telefunken BLE 14 081) original GERMAN 1950s MONO 1st pressing (purple/gold label)
FIRST PRESS! ELLY NEY (piano) and LUDWIG HOELSCHER (cello) - unaccompanied recordings. Purple/gold label.
GRADING: NM/VG (disc / cover)
DESCRIPTION: Record clean (few paper scuffs), plays superb. Clean labels. Sleeve shows general wear - some light creasing and laminate lifting. The main problem is the laminate seems to have reacted with the black ink on the cover, resulting in a "chalky" white appearance. Total removal of laminate might help, maybe not - just leaving it as is (haven't actually encountered this issue before). Complete with original German language poly-lined inner sleeve - but disc is supplied in brand new Nagaoka polythene inner. (NB - many of these records will have been unplayed for 20 or 30 years, and could possibly benefit from a pro-clean).
