BLIND FAITH 1st LP 1969 POLYDOR 1st Press RAREST EVER DIFFERENT COVER

On offer here is a VERY rare LP (especially in this condition!!!!) by Blind Faith called 'Blind Faith' and is an ORIGINAL 1969 UK 1st Pressing on the 1st Press Polydor label!!!!  THIS LP IS SERIOUSLY RARE AND VIRTUALLY IMPOSSIBLE TO FIND!!!!  THIS IS ONE OF THE RAREST LPs ON THE POLYDOR LABEL - AND VIRTUALLY NEVER TURNS UP FOR SALE!!!!  JUST TRY AND FIND ANOTHER ONE!!!!  BACK IN 1969 WHEN THIS LP WAS FIRST RELEASED - IT ONLY EVER SOLD IN ABSOLUTELY TINY AMOUNTS (IN THIS FORMAT!), AND WAS ALMOST IMMEDIATELY DELETED!!!!  AS A RESULT IT IS SERIOUSLY RARE AND INCREDIBLY HARD TO LOCATE TODAY!!!!  IT IS ALSO IN BRILLIANT CONDITION - AND THE RAREST 'DAY OF RELEASE' 1ST PRESSING EVER MADE!!!!

BUT WHAT MAKES THIS LP REALLY SPECIAL IS THAT IT IS THE RAREST PRESSING EVER MADE - WITH A COMPLETELY DIFFERENT 'CENSORED' COVER - SPECIALLY MADE FOR THE 'DAY OF RELEASE' FOR 1 UK RECORD SHOP ONLY!!!!  AND THIS IS ALMOST IMPOSSIBLE TO FIND ON THIS LP!!!!  I WILL EXPLAIN EXACTLY WHAT MAKES THIS LP SO AMAZINGLY RARE!!!!  WHEN THIS LP WAS FIRST RELEASED IN 1969 - THERE WAS MASSIVE OUTRAGE BECAUSE OF THE REPULSIVE 'GIRL' COVER!!!!  MANY SHOPS (AND IN SOME CASES WHOLE COUNTRIES!) REFUSED TO SELL THE LP WITH THE 'GIRL' COVER - AND SOME SHOPS BANNED THE LP ALTOGETHER!!!!  HERE IN THE UK SOME SHOPS (AFTER SEEING THE 'ADVANCE COPIES') ALSO REFUSED TO STOCK THE LP ON RELEASE WITH THE 'GIRL 'COVER' - AND INFORMED POLYDOR.  NOW IF A FEW MINOR SHOPS HAD REFUSED TO STOCK THE COVER, IT IS ALMOST CERTAIN POLYDOR WOULD HAVE IGNORED THEM.  HOWEVER, ONE OF THE UK'S BIGGEST RECORD SHOP CHAINS (AT THE TIME) 'SMITH'S' QUITE RIGHTLY SAID 'NO THANKS'.  SO THIS FORCED POLYDOR TO DEVELOP ANOTHER COVER FOR 'SMITH'S' (AND OTHER SMALLER RECORD SHOPS!), PRIOR TO THE RELEASE DATE!!!!  SO THEY RUSHED THIS 'FULLY LAMINATED' COVER INTO PRODUCTION QUICKLY - SO THEY WOULDN'T LOSE OUT ON SALES.  IN THE UK - IT IS KNOWN AS THE 'CENSORED' COVER, THE 'ALTERNATE' COVER, THE 'SMITH'S' COVER, AND ALSO THE 'B' COVER - AS POLYDOR ADDED AN EXTRA 'B' TO THE CAT NUMBER ON THE COVER TO AID DELIVERIES.  PLEASE NOTE - THIS COVER WAS NOT CALLED A 'B' COVER BECAUSE IT WAS LATER!!!!  IN FACT, THERE ARE EVEN PICTURES OF THIS COVER IN SHOPS ON THE VERY 'DAY OF RELEASE'!!!!

HOWEVER, POLYDOR CLEARLY HADN'T THOUGHT IT THROUGH PROPERLY - AS BARELY ANY OF THESE ULTRA RARE 'ALTERNATE' COVERS WERE EVER SOLD AT ALL!!!!  THIS WAS MAINLY BECAUSE BUYERS DIDNT RECOGNISE THE LP - AND ONLY HALF THE TITLE WAS ON THE COVER FRONT (IT IS SIMPLY TITLED 'BLIND', INSTEAD OF 'BLIND FAITH'!)!!!!  AND IN MY EXPERIENCE ONLY 1 IN EVERY 100 COPIES (IF THAT!) TURN UP WITH THIS ULTRA RARE 'ALTERNATE' 1ST PRESS COVER!!!!  AND THERE IS ANOTHER REASON WHY THIS 'ALTERNATE COVER' IS SO RARE NOW!!!!  BECAUSE, ONCE THE 'HYPE' AND 'SHOCK' ABOUT THE REPULSIVE 'GIRL' COVER HAD SUBSIDED, AND SALES HAD DROPPED, POLYDOR SIMPLY ENDED PRODUCTION OF THIS ULTRA RARE 'ALTERNATE' COVER, AND SHOPS THAT HAD ORIGINALLY REFUSED TO STOCK THE COVER IN THE FIRST PLACE EITHER STOPPED STOCKING IT, OR WENT BACK TO STOCKING THE STANDARD COVER INSTEAD.  SO THIS RAREST EVER 'DAY OF RELEASE' ALTERNATE COVER - WAS ONLY AVAILABLE IN CERTAIN RECORD SHOPS ONLY, AND WAS ONLY EVER MADE FOR THE FIRST 3 MONTHS OF RELEASE ONLY!!!!  SO THERE IS ABSOLUTELY NO DOUBT AT ALL - THAT THIS IS THE 'EARLIEST' & RAREST 1ST PRESS COVER EVER MADE!!!!

NOT ONLY THAT BUT THIS LP IS IN BRILLIANT CONDITION - AND HAS BARELY BEEN PLAYED AT ALL!!!!  JUST TAKE A LOOK AT THE PICTURES!!!!  THIS IS THE ORIGINAL 1969 UK 'RAREST EVER' 1ST PRESSING ON THE 1ST PRESS POLYDOR LABEL, 1ST PRESS A//1 B//1 MATRIX ENDINGS, 1ST PRESS INNER SLEEVE, AND ULTRA RARE 'ALTERNATE' 1ST PRESS 'MacNEILL' FULLY LAMINATED 'CENSORED' COVER!!!!  THIS LP IS SERIOUSLY RARE AND VIRTUALLY IMPOSSIBLE TO FIND LIKE THIS - SO DONT MISS OUT ON THIS AMAZING OPPORTUNITY!!!!  This is the ORIGINAL Polydor UK 1st Pressing from 1969 and is in BRILLIANT condition!!!!  The record is pressed on THICK quality vinyl.  The Cat. No is 583 059(B) on the ORIGINAL 1st Press Polydor Label (see picture) and is a UK Stereo 1st Pressing (there were NO Monos)!!!! 

The record labels are in SUPERB condition (see pictures) with NO wear, NO writing, and only a VERY few light spindle marks!!!!  IT IS VERY CLEAR THAT THIS RECORD HASNT BEEN PLAYED MUCH AT ALL!!!!  The vinyl is in BRILLIANT condition!!!!  Most of these 60s LPs had been to a lot of wild parties and are usually found totally worn out, and almost unplayable. This one is NOT and has NO scratches, only a VERY few VERY light hairlines, NO scufflines, and only a VERY few of the lightest paper scuffs only visible under light!!!!  THE RECORD STILL RETAINS ITS ORIGINAL JUST PRESSED LOOK AND SHINES LIKE NEW!!!!  It is also GREAT to find that the record plays as STUNNINGLY as the visual!!!!  The record plays with NO pops, barely ANY clicks, NO sticking, NO jumps, and barely ANY crackle AT ALL!!!!  The sound quality is simply SUPERB with NO distortion and NO groovewear either!!!!  The record must grade Very Good+ if not better!!!!  Believe me this record is NOT overgraded in ANY way!!!! I use STRICT RC grading standards - it is not in my interest not to!!!! Brillant!!!!  The record comes in its ORIGINAL 1st Press inner sleeve which is in BRILLIANT condition!!!!  The ULTRA RARE 'Alternate' 1st Press 'MacNeill' FULLY Laminated 'Censored' Cover is in BRILLIANT condition!!!!  The cover has NO edge wear, NO spinal wear, NO yellowing, only VERY slight corner wear (NOT through the colour!), NO splits, only a few VERY light creases (cover is VERY flat looking!), NO nasty brown creases AT ALL, shiny laminate, NO rips, NO tears, a thin line of laminate lifting along the spinal edge, NO stickers, an almost INVISIBLE and VERY small repaired 'nick' on the opening edge, NO annotations, and NO writing!!!!  The opening edge is beautifully straight with barely ANY feathering AT ALL (with some possible marginal evidence of trimming here)!!!!  Even the laminated back of the cover is in BRILLIANT condition with NO yellowing, NO grubbyness, and NO writing!!!!  The cover must grade Very Good+ if not better!!!!  THIS LP IS SERIOUSLY RARE AND VIRTUALLY IMPOSSIBLE TO FIND LIKE THIS (ESPECIALLY AS THE ALL TIME 'RAREST' 1ST PRESSING EVER MADE!) - SO DONT MISS OUT ON THIS INCREDIBLE OPPORTUNITY!!!!
